Mosquito larvae stages
Life cycle of acdes mosquito: adult female mosquito lay their egg on the inner wall of container with water above the water line. Generally mosquito lay 100 to 200 eggs at time. >Egg are laid on the surface of water or on damp soil that will be flooded. Egg are very hardly. they stick to the wall of a container like glue and can survive drying out for up to 8 month even over the winter in the south america. >It only takes a very small amount of water to attract the female mosquito . Bowls cups fountains tires barrels vases and any other container storing water makes for a great nursery.
Larvae: larvae emerge from mosquito eggs but only after the water level rise to cover the eggs will trigger the larvae to emerge. >Larvae feed on microorganism in the water. after molting three times the larvae becomes pupa. larvae usually cannot survive without water. if water source evaporates before the larvae within it transform into adult mosquito those young often will die. Pupa stage: pupa will develop until the body of the newly formed adult flying mosquito emerge from the pupal skin and leave the water . pupa develop into adult flying mosquito in 2 to 3 days.
Adult stage: after adult mosquito emerge male mosquito feed on nector flower and female mosquito feed on human and animals for blood to produce eggs. > after feeding female mosquito will look for water source to lay more eggs >Aedes aegyptes only flies a few blocks during its life. >Unlike other mosquito species Aedes aegyptes mosquito prefer to bite people. >Aedes aegypti mosquito prefer to live near people. they can be found inside the homes, building, and business where window or door are left propped open.
